PerkinElmer to Offer Teledyne Tekmar Purge and Trap Technology with Clarus® GC and GC/MS Systems
PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI) has become a reseller for Teledyne Tekmar Purge and Trap automated sample-concentration systems. Purge and Trap systems provide sample preparation for gas chromatographs as mandated by country and application-specific regulatory requirements within the environmental market, including drinking and wastewater, soil and sludge analysis. This agreement enhances PerkinElmer’s market-leading gas chromatography (GC) sample-handling capabilities, coupling Teledyne Tekmar’s Purge and Trap technology to PerkinElmer’s family of high-performance Clarus® GC or GC/MS systems, allowing customers to acquire from a single supplier a complete system that complies with established regulatory requirements. Customers can now leverage PerkinElmer’s renowned service organization for complete support of their systems.
This agreement includes the resale of all Teledyne Tekmar Purge and Trap automated sample-concentration systems as well as the associated consumables, spares, and service parts. This agreement allows for distribution on a worldwide basis.
